Why the dried roots and leaves of plants instead of a shampoo or conditioner?
Shampoos and conditioners are on average 80% water and bacteria breeds in water. Augustine's SuperBath is made solely from the dried roots and leaves of powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial plants, allowing us avoid using preservatives and to uphold the product's organic integrity. Augustine's SuperBath has not had its benefits diluted with the use of water, in turn producing a more potent and effective formula. Augustine's SuperBath cannot be currently certified organic as two of its key ingredients are not being farmed and can only be obtained through wild harvesting.
PREPARATION
Place some of the mixture inside the supplied bath bag, tie a loose knot at the end to prevent spilling and infuse in a large cup of boiling water for five minutes.
FOOT SOAK
Use the smallest bowl possible and mix with cold water to make it touch-safe. Soak paws for a min. of 5 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes. Gently scrub the paws with the bath bag.
BATH
Place the bath bag and liquid from the cup into the bath tub or sink (ensuring the water is touch-safe), and soak the dog for a min. of 5 minutes and a max. of 15 minutes. If you are not able to submerge trouble areas during a bath, use a arge plastic cup to pour the bath water over the dog repeatedly. The bath bag can be used as a sponge to gently scrub or dab trouble areas.

DO I NEED TO USE A SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER?
Shampoos and conditioners may be needed depending on how dirty your dog is. For best results use this product after using shampoo and conditioner.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WASH MY DOG?
For best results wash 1-2 times daily for the first 5 days and then reduce frequency to once every two days and so on, depending on the condition of the skin.
DO I NEED TO RINSE THE PRODUCT OUT?
Rinsing is optional.
When should I use Augustine's SuperBalm and When should I use Augustine's SuperBath?
On the contrary to popular belief, most skin problems have an internal root-cause. It is only a smaller percentage of dogs that have a purely topical infection that these products can help address. The skin is the weakest organ and when nasties cannot be eliminated through the digestive system they tend to come out through the skin.
Our balm and bath can provide relief while our supplements (including Faith's Cleanse & Detox and our Healthy Skin Bundles) restore gut balance and in turn address the root cause of skin problems. . Augustine's SuperBalm and Augustine's SuperBath will go after fungus and bacteria, soothe the skin and provide relief from irritations while our supplements get to work. The comparison I like to use is to a mosquito bite - if you leave it alone it heals quickly. If you continually scratch and pick at it, it becomes a lot worse.
The skin is a living organ and nasties are continually being expelled (sometimes for weeks or months), hence why 1-2 Augustine's SuperBaths may not be enough. While Augustine's SuperBath is extremely powerful and effective at attacking fungus and bacteria topically, customers may struggle to keep up with regular bathing and it can also be difficult to submerge some dogs for minutes at a time, especially larger dogs or those that do not like water. It is also time consuming to bathe dogs daily. Augustine's SuperBalm offers ease and convenience, especially in hard to bathe areas like the ears. Ideally the two should be used together, reducing the frequency of bathing.

Heals wounds ridiculously quickly
I bought Augustine's SuperBath two years ago when I adopted our dog, Tater. I have used this product as a wash for initial wounds (like deep cuts from barbed wire or a recent nail split that revealed the quick). Along with further care. They have healed in the span of 2-3 days. This requires 2-3 time per day of rinsing the area. I don’t bathe him in it but pour it over or use a large baster. ' I have been amazed at how many times I have avoided the vet bills. Amazing product!
Augustine's SuperBath
Zoe actually loves having her foot soaks with this product. It calms her, helps relieve the itching for a day or so then I have to do it again. I understand that for best results I have to use supplements to help rebalance the gut (like Faith's Cleanse & Detox) so the bath will only help provide relief when the problem is internal.
Almost Magical
My sweet little fur baby is a rescue. He does not like bath time as it seems to trigger his skin issues. Absolutely amazing!
I used the Augustine's SuperBath on our dog when she came down with the worst case of hives I have ever seen and within 24 hours the improvement was amazing! I used it on her everyday for a week and the results were truly brilliant. It eased the itching and redness almost immediately and it smells so beautiful. Calms irritated skin
My dog has an itch, the cause of which is unknown. Although she is on a raw diet and we avoid chemicals and pesticides as much as we can, she has developed a strange itch, dry skin and sometimes suffers from hives. There doesnt seem to be an answer to why it is happening to her. We have been using Augustine's SuperBath every second day and it has been relieving her itch! Itchy Skin from Grass

Gypsy, our 10-year-old Golden Retriever had been suffering from very itchy skin. She had always been prone to hot spots but lately they had been more frequent and Gypsy started to scratch constantly. Soothes skin irritation
I used Augustine's SuperBath for the first time last night on my staffy who has bad skin allergies / irritations. Within a matter of minutes he had stopped scratching. The redness in his skin disappeared as well. Today he has hardly itched at all and I can't believe the change in him! I've only used product once but I am hooked! It's so easy to use as well.
