What is the difference between the orange Vegan version and the red label?

Same ingredients.  Same goodness.  Both are suitable for ALL dogs.

However, the vegan orange label has been specially formulated for dogs living solely on a vegan diet. The balance of each ingredient is different to that of the red label.  If you would like optimum benefit for a vegan dog then we suggest you select the Vegan orange label.

What is it?

Augustine’s SuperBoost is the world’s first 100% certified organic supplement made entirely from wholefoods and specially formulated for canines. It is based on the formula found in our flagship fresh food product, Augustine’s SuperFood.

This nutritional powerhouse is suitable for ALL dogs and can be added to dry, canned, raw & homemade meals.  You can even use the free recipes on the Augustine Approved website to make Augustine’s SuperFood at home!

Augustine’s SuperBoost contains ingredients used by top performing athletes.  It is packed with so much goodness that not only is it safe for human consumption, we actually encourage you to add it to your own food.  It is an excellent addition to smoothies.

Why should I add Augustine's SuperBoost to my dog's diet?

Simply put, Augustine's SuperBoost is just that - a boost. It helps maintain a higher quality of life. It contains a range of high quality nutrients not found anywhere else.

No matter how well you currently feed your dog, Augustine's SuperBoost is a great addition to any canine diet.

Dry, canned & raw commercial foods

The majority of pet food companies rely on synthetic supplementation to compensate
for the natural nutrients destroyed during cooking (irrespective of price or quality of the ingredients). Synthetic supplements are also used to help products meet standards that will allow companies to label their products as balanced. Whilst on paper these products appear to be nutritionally balanced, it is no secret that many synthetic vitamins lack the important nutritional co-factors needed to assist the body in absorbing and assimilating nutrients.

Unlike synthetic vitamins which contain no trace minerals and must utilise the body's own mineral reserves, wholefood complexes are recognised as real food. The body can digest and assimilate wholefood nutrients without having to rob itself of the trace minerals
and other co-factors necessary to complete the vitamins synergistic operation. Research indicates that over time synthetic vitamins may actually cause nutritional deficiencies.

Augustine’s SuperBoost is made entirely from highly digestible plant ingredients. You could say that it helps put the goodness back that processing takes out.

Raw & homemade meals

Augustine's SuperBoost is a great addition to homemade meals (including raw). It helps improve stools and aids with digestion by promoting healthy organ function.

Many dog guardians would love to prepare fresh food for their dogs however they are reluctant to do so because of the fear of producing unbalanced meals. Our recipes have not only been verified by a leading canine nutritionist as balanced, they far exceed AAFCO standards. Why not give our recipes a try?

How do I know if the food I am feeding my dog has synthetic supplements?

If the ingredients list on the packaging seems as if it is in another language, then have a look for the english version.  No, seriously... all those long and strange scientific sounding ingredients are usually synthetic supplements.  If the label says the product includes, "vitamins" or "minerals" then you guessed it... synthetic.  Google is your friend!

How often do I supplement my dog’s meal?

ASB is recommend for use in every meal, but you can use it as often as you like.

Add RAW COCONUT OIL or water to aid mixing into food.

For Optimum Results feed your dog a daily minimum of:

  • Miniature 1/4 - 1/2 tsp.
  • Small 1/2 - 1 tsp.
  • Medium 1 - 2 tsp.
  • Large - 1 - 1.5 tbsp.
  • Giant - 1.5 - 2.5 tbsp.

Halve the amount for puppies.

Augustine’s SuperBoost is also healthy for cats:

  • Kitten 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. daily
  • Adult 1/2 - 1 tsp. daily

So what DOESN'T Augustine approve?

Additives, chemicals, colourings, dairy, fillers, flavourings, grains, gluten, irradiation, meat or meat by-products, MSG, palm oil, preservatives, salts, sweeteners, synthetics, and GMOs.

Just like all our products, Augustine's SuperBoost carries the following symbols:

I highly recommend this product for optimal health, real vitamins and nutrition for your vegan dog.

I love it due to being made of organic and human grade ingredients.

I mix Augustine's SuperBoost - Vegan in with Raw Coconut Oil and my doggies love it.

  2. Pawsitively magical! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Jan 2017

We are huge supporters of Phivo and Augustine's Approved.

After having a meltdown following a vet visit with my doggy, Phivo took the time to offer me nutritional advice and a natural alternative for my pooch.

My family are so grateful and since then the star of our family, Frankie, is healthy and happy and pharmaceutical free.

  3. My dog loves it 5 Star Review

Our dog absolutely loves Augustine's SuperBoost. It's been only one week since we started adding it to his food, but his coat seems shinier and he has a lot more energy.

  4. Augustines Super Boost VEGAN 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Aug 2016

My whippet had had a rumbly tummy over the years on a raw meat and dry food diet.

Now he is being fed a vegan diet along with Augustine's SuperBoost and his stomach rumbles seem to be a
    things of the past.

Both my dogs gobble down their home-made meals with the Augustine's SuperBoost stirred in. They love it!

I will definitely continue to buy Augustine's SuperBoost. It's easy to order and the delivery is fast.

I'm very happy to know they are receiving such great nutrients.

Thank you from Bella and Winnie.

    Woof!

  5. Vegan Healer 5 Star Review

Posted by on 4th Jul 2016

I have only been feeding this product to my dog for a very short time to help with her arthritis.

I am really looking forward to seeing the results soon.

The fussy girl is happy to eat it (don't blame her, it smells great!) and she has the healthiest poo's of her life!

  6. vegan dog food 5 Star Review

    So far so good!

I have only just started feeding Augustine's SuperBoost - Vegan by supplementing mostly vegan dog food dishes.

My dogs have the healthiest looking poo I have ever seen them have!

  7. Simply the best. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Nov 2015

    I have been using Augustine's SuperBoost Vegan for my 4 year old Border Collie X Great Dane and my 14 year old Bull Arab X French Mastiff for around 6 months now and have seen vast improvements in both, especially in the older gal;
Her coat is shiner as it's helped with her dermatitis, she's become more energetic (I believe it's helping her joints a lot) and doesn't get stomach upsets from it at all (all other foods upset her stomach and she ends up crying for hours). The younger one's coat has also become shinier and her weight has balanced out.

I highly recommend this product for optimal health, vitamin and nutrition for your vegan dog. Non vegan dogs would benefit greatly from switching to the the red label Original version as there are no nasty ingredients, it is all organic and human grade, and contains a vastly higher amount of nutrition than other dog food, both kibble and canned.

I mix Augustine's SuperBoost in with brown rice, quinoa, lentils, split peas, soaked chia seeds, cranberries, roast pumpkin, roast sweet potato, roast potato, steamed broccoli, steamed carrot and coconut oil. I was mixing in gravy and other vegan friendly flavour sachets but found they enjoyed the taste without it.

I will continue to use Augustine's SuperBoost - Vegan for my canine companions as I will accept nothing but the best for my darlings.

  8. Healthy elderly dogs 5 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Feb 2015

We have 3 elderly dogs who are benefiting greatly since being on Augustine SuperBoost (Vegan).

We are a cruelty free household, so no meat or dairy for us or the dogs.

Two of them are very fussy eaters, but thankfully they love the taste of this product. The other dog a kelpie x aged 13 & 1/2 years has a lot of benign lumps. One was of concern about 8 months ago, (possible malignancy) and the vet suggested surgery. There was concern due to his age, so we decided to wait and watch.

I feed Augustine's SuperBoost to all the dogs daily and I am happy to say that since then, the lump has softened and not increased in size. A second opinion has given a diagnosis of 99% benign.

  9. Best product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Jan 2015

This has been the best product by far for improving my 14 year old dog's health. She was crippled with arthritis but she has responded very well to Augustine's SuperBoost.

She is able to walk again and enjoys being active.

  10. Great healthy product! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Jan 2015

My 2 dogs, a staffy x (5) and a shih-tzu x maltese (11), both love this addition to their dinner.

The staffy happily switched to a vegan lentil/veg dinner with the Superboost added about 1.5 years ago. My beloved shih-tzu x had been eating this for about 2.5 years and was diagnosed with mast cell cancer tumors in August 2013, worst gradings and only given 4 months to live.

She was going strong until beginning of January 2015. She lived an extra year and was happy, energetic and well fed till the end, I think her diet helped with this, although I am no vet.

Thank you for the wonderful product that my precious pooches love.
